Why was Camilla considered soiled goods unworthy of marrying the heir to the throne back in the 70’s when Charles first met her?

Was she considered to be a trollop?

Google it. She is more important than you so her life history is in Wikipedia for all the world to see.

Camilla was not considered unworthy of marriage to Charles back in the seventies as she intended to marry Andrew Parker Bowles and was not considered a serious girlfriend, dating Charles only a few times.

It is some people, decades after the fact, who seek to paint Camilla as not a prospect for marriage back in the seventies. They wish to paint a picture that didn't happen. Camilla saw Charles a few times, but she was heavily invested in her long-time relationship with Andrew Parker Bowles, the man she intended to marry. She was not thinking about marrying Charles.

Charles is said to have liked her very much, but he wasn't really interested in marriage at that time, just starting his naval career. He wasn't ready to marry, but he did note when Camilla did marry and is said to have felt some regret. The women he liked all went off to marry someone else is the refrain.

Camilla was thought to have been "around the block" a few time, I am not saying that she was the town bike but, she had received a few "punctures" along the way.

It was because she had already been through the menopause, that happened in 1882 so a hundred years before William was born. So she could not provide the heir let alone the spare.

Camilla had been in an on-off relationship with Andrew Parker Bowles since long before meeting Prince Charles and that was considered enough of a 'history' to make her unsuitable. 50 years ago attitudes in royal circles were conservative in the extreme and with Princess Margaret having had a disastrous marriage with a commoner, they where hoping for a better match. Charles had probably been more promiscuous than Camilla.

No she was not a trollop. She was a divorced woman and that is a religious no-no.

The creature Camilla got her revenge in the end. Princess Dianna was killed. Camilla had already been shagging Charles while he was still married to Dianna. Now Camilla will get to be queen and show everyone that nothing stands in her way to get what she ultimately want!! It’s like a horror fairy story where evil triumph.

Well, there was the little matter of her already being married to Andrew Parker Bowles at the time, and what with Prince Charles' mummy being head of the Church of England, which has a pretty firm stance against bigamy...
