Do MLB players use the same amount of bat power and speed for every swing they take?!?

No, they don't always. Sometimes they are protection the plate and trying to make contact and other times they swing for the fences.

No, there are times when an outfielder is laying really deep and a hitter wants to put the ball in shallow outfield so they don't swing as if the fielder is playing shallow.

That'd be foolish.  Different pitchers need to be fought differently.

In the but recently every swing is for maximum effort, all out swing for a homer.
