Is A hard day's night the best Beatles album?

    No. It’s good, but Rubber Soul was a *huge* turning point for the Beatles. Revolver, Sgt. Pepper, the White Album & Abbey Road are better than A Hard Day’s Night, and for the most part, what the Beatles did from 1965 to 1969 had a higher degree of maturity, experimentation & quality.

    Nowhere near the best....Rubber Soul is far better.

  • It's actually one of my all time favourites, I play it far more than I play 'Sgt Pepper'.  There's just so many great songs and it doesn't even run to 30 minutes.  Not their best but pretty close.

    Nowhere close, in my opinion. Rubber Soul, Revolver, Abbey Road and Sgt Pepper are all superior. That said, it's still a great collection of songs.

    It’s great. Came out at the height of Beatlemania. I like all of their albums, but I probably listen to HDN the most.
