As a nickname for Albert, fine. A stand alone name, it’s too cutesy and sadly as one has previously said, a new chav name

    It's okay for a boy.

The name Albie  is a diminutive of Albert. I would not name my boy Albie.

childish. Nothing cute or adorable about the name you choose to make a question about. Its a stupid name

It's cute, but it looks like a nickname  for Albert or Alberta.

Albie sounds like a really cute name.

Strangely, while I really dislike the “old fashioned nicknames as full names” trend ie Archie, Alfie, Freddie, Frankie, the one I do like is Albie. I wouldn’t use it but I think it’s really cute.

Latest "in" chav name. Can't imagine it on anyone over about six. At least it makes a change from Alfie or Archie

It's a nickname for Albert.  I don't mind it as a nickname.  I'd prefer Albert first, though.
