How long can a teacup Chihuahua live for?
I got her yesterday at 7 weeks.

Don't expect that damn thing to live for over a year. Teacup dogs are full of health issues.

There is no such thing as a "teacup" anything (aside from in china). This is a marketing term (like putting lipstick on a runt PIG.) You've been SCAMMED!
Teacups are DELIBERATELY mal-bred and extremely STUNTED animals of certain dog breeds, and bred by only UNETHICAL and irresponsible BYB to be extra tiny (for the gullible or naive - who ask no questions & and are simply ATTRACTED to the tininess factor).
The STUNTED size causes all such pups & dogs to develop MAJOR health problems (their body is too small for the normal size organs). They are very unhealthy and the vet bills are huge. Their life span is MUCH shorter than normal (only 5-7 years) vs the NORMAL life span of about 15-18 tears for correctly sized Chihuahua.
Please feel free to GOOGLE teacup dogs+health problems.

Larger Chihuahuas live for between 15 and 20 years however the common health issues that can be suffered by the teacup version means that the average life expectancy is considerably shorter. Since your new puppy was sold BEFORE 8 weeks. It's easy to assume that you got it from a BYB. Expect the dog to pass in less than 5 years.

Well since you got her a week earlier than you LEGALLY could, and she's a teacup chihuahua then she will be full of health issues and will probably die in months. Make sure you have plenty of money in the bank because those vet bills will be HUGE.

Your dog will die sooner than later. Dogs aren't meant to be that small.
