"HIckok 45" is a reliable resource on firearms.

The cost is at least double a Remington 870 Defender.

My concern would be the weight of the fully loaded arm out past the foregrip in close quarters (in home) situations where you have to lower and raise it quickly.

Not available in CA, of course.

It looks like an interesting weapon.  Really.

What level of firearms raining and experience do you currently have?

Are you commonly attacked by teams of well-trained criminals?  If not, then it's probably a bit overkill.  A simple standard pump-action shotgun should be more than adequate.
