Sure if you want to pay 60-70% of your paychecks in taxes.

In italy the highest tax rate is 40% and we still get a month of vacation and public healthcare

Many do.  I was a school teacher before I retired and got 61 days off every summer, not to mention 2 weeks at Christmas, a week for spring break, and a week for Thanksgiving.  My wife’s company gave her 310 hours a year vacation that works out to 7.75 weeks a year.  We live in Florida.  All you have to do is find the right job with the right company.

How many times do you plan to ask this????  Again, most companies do offer more vacation if you are with them for a long time.  I work in healthcare and have accrued over 500 hours of PTO.  I don't really need to take that much time off.  I plan long weekends from time to time.
