Will masks protect local residents against Covid19 after casino/hotels in Las Vegas have opened? ?
Casino/hotels opened in Las Vegas June 4, and Staff are all wearing masks for Covid19 protection, but only about half of guests. Does this put Casino employees and local residents in great danger of contacting Covid19 as a result of thousand of tourists coming to Las Vegas when we know masks don’t protect individuals against contacting the disease?

if you're wearing a mask and washing your hands, i'm sure you'll be fine...

you should not be leaving the house if you have COVID-19.
the masks are not to protect you, but to keep you from coughing on others.
besides, i would say the risk of contracting hep-C in that town was greater...

Masks don't protect you from getting the virus. Masks prevents you from spreading it if you have it and are asymptomatic.
The ONLY way to protect yourself from getting it is multi-factoral.
1. Wear an N95 mask.
2. Wear gloves.
3. Wear a face shield (virus can enter your body through your eyes)
4. Don't touch your face.
5. Wash your hands frequently, specially after being in a public space.
Best way to avoid getting it is to not leave your home.

Masks do not protect someone from a person who isn't wearing one. However, you are only in great danger if you are near the person. So don't go into any casinos, and stay away from the tourists. And stay away from casino employees, since they can't stay away from the tourists.
