What causes stuttering when I talk to strangers/people I’m not comfortable with?

I never stutter when I talk to close family or friends. But when I have to say a sentence or more to someone I’m not comfortable with I stutter and slur my words. I do have social anxiety/anxiety in general. What are some ways to over come this? It’s so embarrassing 😑

You are feeling afraid of others you do not know.

Pray to God for help here!

Have you seen the DVD "Bertie & Elizabeth"? Bertie became the King of England as one that had stuttered. He found a way to stop.
