Are there historical accounts of homosexuality among women in Japan just like there are for men with samurai?

    The oldest known work of literature describing woman homosexuality in Japan seems to be "Waga mi ni tadoru Himegimi"  from the Kamakura Period.

    I think little is known about the historical accounts. The below study, which analyzed 3,500 shunga prints from the Edo period seems to have said that picture figures among men were less than 3% of them, while among women were less than 1%.
