Do you have to pay impact fees, even though there was a house there before?? I thought the impact fees were a one time fee?

Usually impact fees are paid on new construction.

Sounds like you are buying a vacant house where there used to be a house...... It all depends what the fees are for.

Never heard of "impact fees". Ive never had them.

Call whatever department issued them and ask. But fighting taxes is likely an unproductive endeavor. (I am assuming its some kind of tax)
