Why do we frown upon hearing a child cursing or using swear words if their parents and many adults curse as well?! Might as well let them!?

I don’t curse.  My children might but they won’t have learned it from me and if they want to curse around me they’ll wish they didn’t

Because two wrongs don't make a right.  A child needs to understand what is and isn't acceptable behavior and if they aren't corrected by their parents, they won't know any better.
