Will I lose weight if I cut out sweets and junk food?
I am a 5’8 male and I weigh 175, my stomach looks like a pregnant woman’s stomach and I have love handles on my sides. I’m trying to lose a lot of weight, I’m basically trying to get down to 120. I don’t have a set time for when I want to reach this goal. I regularly consume a lot of junk food like sweets, potato chips, fast food. When I say sweets I mean candy, cookies, brownies, ice cream. So if I cut out sweets and junk food and fast food altogether and eat fruits and vegetables three times a day would I lose weight? By cutting out sweets and junk and fast food I would be cutting my daily calorie intake by half at the very least. I’m still going to eat meats and consume healthier carbs like brown rice, sweet potatoes, wheat bread for toast some mornings, eggs, plain Greek yogurt, cottage cheese. I’m going to be running and I already work a physical labor job 40 hours a week. How fast do you think I would lose weight?

It looks like a good plan. Try it and you'll find out soon enough.
