What does Elongation in 2 in, % mean?

My engineering textbook has this listed in tables with material properties and I need to find elongation with a load applied without knowing the modulus of elasticity.

It is a point between tensile strength and yield strength and is expressed as a percentage of the original length.

what is the title of the table... more info needed....

a guess is that it is percent elongation per pound of force or some such... but that would depend on the cross-sectional area also.
