Why are Independence Day celebrations being canceled but protests being permitted today?  Is this a liberal thing ?

No, it's a lifesaving thing.  Independence Day celebrations get a much larger turnout and the virus would spread, although not as much as if they were indoors.

Protests, because they are somewhat smaller, and more importantly, outdoors, do not spread the virus as much.  (If they were indoors, then they would spread it more than the celebrations.)

Yup.  By making exceptions for law breakers and protecting them from societal retribution, dems are hoping to rile up the public enough to vote for Biden for "law and order".

Because we're supposed to go back to huddling indoors to avoid the CCP virus.

NOT the protestors. JUST the rest of us.

Fortunately, we acquired our own fireworks. Watching fireworks on TV is like listening to Radio Free Europe.

The protests are not being organized by the federal government.

The things conservatives think are clever... they keep demonstrating they have no understanding of how reality works.
