Do I need a tetanus shot?

I stepped on a small pin with a rusty top but the bottom did not seem rusty. It went though my thick shoe and it was small so it barely hit my skin, but now I have a wound. It didn’t bleed and I don’t have trouble walking on it. I honestly think the nail didn’t do it because when I looked there was a hole on the shoe not where the wound is.

Update:

The last time I got a tetanus shot was October 2018

Update 2:

It’s been 2 days. I went to my cousin’s house and didn’t wear shoes the whole time the same day the pin “hit” me and I think it was from my cousins. Thanks for the answers

Update 3:

Ok so it’s been almost a week. Guess we’ll see in about a week to a month If I get lockjaw...

No. They are good 10 years. And rust doesn’t cause tetanus, a bacteria found in soil does
