Geometric Sequence?

The geometric sequence shown in the pyramid is 6, 36, 216, 1296, ¼.

Consider this geometric sequence and the 13th term. Is this pyramid scheme sustainable?

    6^13 is about 13 billion.

    If this is a "pyramid scheme" in the sense of convincing new people to join, the 13th term is where it exceeds the world's population.

    Assuming 1/4 should be 7776,

    a_n = 6^n

    a_13 = 6^13 = 13060694016

    There is no limit to high numbers can go so the sequence is sustainable...assuming that's what you mean by "sustainable."

    If that were a geometric sequence, the 5th term would be 7776, not ¼

    shown in what pyramid ?
