out of touch / disconnected?
Which one do you prefer to say?
- I’m sorry but you’re out of touch with reality that I feel pity for you.- I’m sorry but you’re disconnected with reality that I feel pity for you.

I don't think it is possible to disconnect from reality. reality is still there. your failure to recognize it (you lose touch with it, do not sense it) is what happens. You could, conceivably, have a cognitive disconnect with reality, but that is not disconnecting reality. it is disconnecting your brain functions from reality. The reality is still there and still part of you whether or not you perceive it.

Both are awkward at best. Try: I pity you because you're out of touch with reality.
