If Darren Daulton had played the 1998 season with the Minnesota Twins, which position would he have played for them?

Given that Daulton's knees already deteriorated to where he can't be the regular catcher anymore, it would've had to be either Left Field, Right Field (played both outfield positions in his later days with the Phillies), First Base (for the Marlins) or Designated Hitter if he wanted to play in 1998 instead of retiring a World Series champion with the Marlins.

Would Daulton have been listed as 1B, LF, RF or DH if he signed with the Minnesota Twins only for the 1998 season?

@Slickterp: if not DH, then do you think Daulton would’ve played 1B, LF or RF for the Twins?

Not DH, that was HOFer Paul Molitor.
