How is George Bush a war hero when he ejected and left his crew members in the plane to die?
- Random GuyLv 74 weeks ago
Sounds like a typical argument every left have been using to discredit Bush's war service just because they did not like their son. There are even idiots who claimed that no one in Bush's family served in a war, are you one of these people?

Let me guess. PBS did a special on him and b/c he's not Trump and his presidency is over, they neglected to do a proper hatchet job and now you're upset. Poor baby.

Good thing you have the moral high ground to comment, because you didn't lose any crew on the 58 combat missions YOU flew in a carrier based piston engine'd torpedo bomber into a hail of anti-aircraft lead and shrapnel.
Thank you for your service and bravery!

Lies, Bush Sr..flew a WW II fighter and ran out of gas over the Pacific Ocean and a submarine saved him and he was flying alone and by the seat of his pants

Explain what he could have done differently?

Tell the goddamn story right or not at all. He flew The Avenger they didn't have ejection seats. He told them to bail over a area that would most likely ensure their survival and or pick-up he gave the coordinates where they went down. A rescue sub was already in the area to pick up survivor's and downed air crew that was a standard Navy Policy! Former President Bush 41 was picked up by a rescue sub one or two his men didn't make it That's called combat!

Donald Trump, is that you?

He didn't eject. Avenger torpedo bombers didn't have ejection seats. His plane ditched and sank. Everybody had to get out on their own. Nobody knows exactly what happened, but I for one am not going to accuse him of anything without proof.

The plane was shot down. They are SUPPOSED to eject.
