Not entirely. But as human civilization pushes further into jungles and forests, there will be increasing habitat loss and destruction and the greater instances of viruses and diseases spreading from animals into human hosts.

Yes.  But you don't have to take an intentional stance (so-called "pathetic fallacy") on it.  You can just see the biosphere as a homoeostatic system which when disturbed will tend to push back to equilibrium.

Earth has no consciousness, so it cannot fight anything.

No.  Coronavirus is Trump's way of degrading an angry electorate

Pandemics happen when there are high population densities, and where humans butcher and consume animals. Take away either of those and pandemics would happen a lot less.

Yes, it’s nature’s way of weeding out the idiots amongst us. Politicians, people who deny science, people who refuse to wear masks, and people who listen to propaganda because they are no longer able to think for themselves. Simply Darwinism at work ...

The earth is a system, not a sentient being.  Like any system it reacts to stresses and change induced by physical forces.  Among those physical forces are the affects of human activity.  So it is not so much the earth fighting back as humans fighting the earth with an incomplete understanding of how the enormously complex system of the biosphere will react to our shenanigans.
