Can anyone provide verifiable proof that the so-called "southern strategy" isn't just another leftist attempt to revise history?

Wikipedia doesn't count, as most college professors will tell you.

I have a feeling all I'll get are non-answers, deflection, or just a chorus of crickets from the left on this one.

Update 2:

Lol @anonymous! Just as I figured, a deflective response from a leftist lemming. The burden of proof lies on those claiming this myth to be true. I don't see any proof. Why? Because there isn't any. Hence, the reason for your deflective non-answer. Lol

You're the one making the claim. The burden of proof lies on you to prove it, not on us to disprove it.

It’s a phrase invented in the 1950’s by left wingers to attack the south.
