pridect which of the ions Mg2+ or S2- is larger . ?
please i need a easy and correct explanation .

First of all to correct your grammar, it is 'predict', not 'pridect'. and the sentence begins with a capital letter 'P' /'Predict'.
As a rule of thumb, if an atom LOSES electrons to become an ion, then it becomes SMALLER.
If an atom GAINS electrons to become an ion, then it becomes LARGER.

Mg+2 , S-2 and P-3
P-3 ion has larger ionic size
Mg+2 is smaller ionic size.
when the number of electrons are added to the atom, the electron density is increases in outer most orbit.
So, the more repulsive forces are present between already present electrons and added electrons.
Hence, in the formation of Anion ( negative ion) the size of the atom is an increases.
So, more negatively charged ion has larger in size.
So,the decreasing order of size of the ions P-3 > S-2 > Mg+2.
