There is actually no law against it. But why should anyone feel the need to kill at all?

If a cult believed in killing randomly selected humans, they would not be allowed in most countries.  In India, where cows are though to be incarnations of humans, and sacred animals, I don't think they should be allowed to kill cows.  It is their country, and those are their beliefs....they are in charge.

Let's say that Muslims believe it's okay to disrespect India's laws and start killing cows.  And then later, Hindus start stealing from Muslims.  Would the Muslims complain that Hindus are disrespecting the laws of the land?

In every country, there are laws that some don't like.  There's probably not a person on the planet who likes every law in the country they live in.  The remedy is NOT to disrespect those laws because the ensuing anarchy would result in even less freedoms, including the freedom to simply live.

Everyone living in a land should respect the laws of that land.  Or move to a land that allows what you wish to do.

Muslims should be allowed to kill only the really tasty cows in India.

Everyone should respect the law of the land, as the highest authority there is in that place.

You obey the laws of the place you move to. They aren't allowed to kill cows in India, and they aren't allowed to treat their women like cows in America.
