Why do people buy boats?

    Because they float a lot better when your out fishing and water skiing than a car does.

    Sometimes you just can't get to places of interest by car. Not to mention the journey is a lot more fun in a boat.

    Cause they like to sail.  My dad bought one, and we would go sailing sometimes.  It was nice, but it was expensive to own.
