Can my wife get insurance after she has had cancer and other health issues?

My wife currently works and has insurance through her work. Because of some serious health issues including cancer it has become very difficult for her to perform her job. If she leaves her job will she still be able to get health insurance and how? Not sure it matters but she is only 36 years old, we have two young kids and everyone else is perfectly healthy.

Yes, so long as your insurance just covers it.

Preexisting conditions no longer stop insurers from covering people, so yes she can.   But this question is more about insurance than cancer.
