He would like a prescription for eyeglasses to serve the same purpose. What is the correct prescription for the eyeglasses if the distance from the eyeglasses to his eyes is 2.00 cm?

Real world answer is +2.00. That is not likely the answer that your teacher is looking for. However, glasses come in 0.25 D steps. No one that deals primarily in real world situations remembers how to do your physics problem. You should probably move your question.
