Will Nevada be keeping schools closed this fall? Virtual only , or in- person?

That depends on the school district and where the school is. For example, most schools in Clarke County will be having remote learning but some schools in rural areas plan to open to some extent. https://www.reviewjournal.com/local/education/some...

Many states leave this up to the local districts with guidelines. The easiest thing for you to do is to go to the district site for the area you're wondering about and see what the plan is. It will be posted.

Education is not that centralized in the US. Each school district will be making its own decisions. My school district was planning to reopen but has gone virtual. But the suburban districts right around us are re-opening. Check on the website of the specific school district.

There is a phased re-opening starting August 24th. Each district has some choices and decisions to make. There will be guidelines that must be followed. The largest population district, CCSD, is aiming to start on full time distance (away from schools) learning programs.
It isn't safe yet to bunch together students and spread Covid-19 throughout students, teachers, and family, into community.
Not happy yet with where we are at:
