If the cure to cancer was a genetically enhanced parasite that eats it all up would you get injected with it?

What possible reason would there be not to?

If I had cancer and there was a parasite that would eat just the cancerous cells and nothing else, of course I would.

It's just not going to happen because

    - no organism distinguishes healthy cells from cancerous ones

    - both types of cells have the same nutritional value

    - there's no way an organism could reach all your cells while you are not affected (don't die)

How do you "eat" cancer all up?  You DO understand, don't you, that cancer isn't an outside "thing" that invades your body?  It's a genetic/epigenetic transformation of your own cells, such that normal controls on cell division are lost.
