The "Sociological Perspective" is a notion developed by "Sociologists" to force people to accept a point-of-view that they wouldn't otherwise accept. Individual behavior is best characterized by "what is in the best interest of the individual". Any essay taken from that perspective is true regardless of what a sociology teacher says.
