Is it ok to use both traditional floss and a water flosser?
I'm thinking about buying a water flosser from waterpik. I have a permanent retainer in the back of my mouth which makes it a little harder to floss. I'm hoping a water flosser will make sure to get areas I might miss. Would it be ok to use both string floss (with threaders) and a water flosser? Or is that too much pressure on my teeth/gums.

I use both, most people should also. It cleans the teeth very well. I noticed that after using a waterpik there is still some fiber between my teeth that flossing removes.
