Are mask really usefull to protect you from covid-19?

    masks prevent exhalation ,sneezes, and coughs...think of it like covering your cough in your elbow. there are potential side effects from wearing a mask too long as well as during strenuous activity(potential carbon monoxide build up). in short because of asymptomatic spread is everyone protecting other people from themselves not protecting their selves

    Yes and no, in the right circumstances they can be effective. Unfortunately its so often the wrong group of people in the wrong place at the wrong time that are wearing them. Seeing people out in the open and going to the store to buy groceries then taking them off at the pub or restaurant or in church is just silly, most people only wear them during very low risk activities then take them off when they go to the higher risk activities. You see the irony? Its like wearing a condom all the time and taking it off only for sex.
