Method 1:
A + 2B ⇌ 2C K₁ = 2.69
2C ⇌ D K₂ = 0.276
Add the above 2 equations, and cancel 2C on the both sides:
A + 2B ⇌ D K₃ = K₁K₂
Reverse the above equation:
D ⇌ A + 2B K = 1/K₃
K = 1/K₃ = 1/(K₁K₂) = 1/(2.69 × 0.276) = 1.35
====
Method 2:
A + 2B ⇌ 2C K₁ = [C]²/([A][B]²) = 2.69
2C ⇌ D K₂ = [D]/[C]² = 0.276
D ⇌ A + 2B K = ?
K = [A][B]²/[D]
= ([A][B]²/[C]²) × ([C]²/[D])
= (1/K₁) × (1/K₂)
= (1/2.69) × (1/0.276)
= 1.35
