"Doe" as in a female deer rhymes with "snow" and "go" in British English, and, most likely, in American English. The word "do", as in "I do like that book", rhymes with "blue" and "true" (and with "new" in American English.

Yes, it rhymes.. So does the other 'dough,' used in making bread, cakes and pies. Any word ending with the same 'o' sound (the long 'O'), will rhyme--i.e., blow; so; know; flow; go; low; tow; grow; mow; glow, throw, and so on.
