Why are so many countries dumping the US$ ?

    MAYBE WE ARE APPROACHING HYPERINFLATION AND THEY WANT TO GET RID OF THEIR DOLLARS BEFORE THEY BECOME WORTHLESS

    It’s a currency without any value. The national debt in the trillions and a pandemic out of control is not a sign of stability of monetary policy.

    At one time the Franc was the international currency of choice.   Most of the nations around France came up with a coin that pretty well mirrored the Franc.   You might say it was the first EURO.    The US Dollar was similar,  a standard currency that other nations would peg they currency to.   But the USA is on the way down and many nations are breaking loose from the dollar as the standard for their currency.   Along with that,  they are dumping dollars.    Remember,  no nation stays on top forever.   Persia, Greece, Rome,  Spain, France,  England did not,  it is silly to think the USA will.
