I sometimes have a sharp pain in my upper left rib cage. What could it be?
I did a high-intensity workout yesterday for about half an hour then did some yoga for about 5. I didn't stretch beforehand. I'm not sure what it could be, but I'm scared. It started this morning just after I woke up. What could be the reason for this pain? I have heard of a lot of people have it before.

A pulled chest muscle or costochondritis - not your heart. Take ibuprofen and rest for a couple of days if it's bothering you.
