Which one is superior, “positive association” or “primary”?

If it had positive association instead of primary, what’s would the difference mean?

I'd distinguish primary as being first or foremost whereas positive association means some type of positive connection, relationship, or relevance.

Primary is a word used to indicate place in order, and refers to the "first" or top.  Positive refers to a judgement on the nature of the thing.  Positive being "good" in some sense.  The two words have different uses and different meanings, although it is not rare that the primary association is also a positive association (it does not have to be though)
