Baby animals is usually a popular choice.   The animals could be safari choices, farm choices, baby bunnies, kittens, puppies, or nearly any animal that would be cute in a nursery.

Hot air balloons can make a cute theme.

Leaf patterns or natural foliage wall paper could be an option.

Creative use of geometrical shapes could even be a theme.

If you pick the theme carefully, the child also won't outgrow it for several years.
