Wow, now they disabled the comments? This garbage site is as trash as ever lmao?
Disabling the comments made losers like the dumbass bellow happy because they can't get their sweet azes refuted by someone anymore. How interesting

Maybe it's because Yayhoo doesn't have the ability or skills to take down garbage. Kind of like Yayhoo security.
What a complete joke!!!

If the comments were only disabled to discourage violent threats and spamming, then why are all the political articles dripping with praise for Biden and Harris and dripping with contempt for Trump..? Perhaps your reasoning was why this action was taken in the past, but this time it's to widen the doorway to sway the public opinion of the shady Democrats.

Your question about how YA works or the rules here, is what? Griping about comment removal changes nothing, but does help show why removing them was appropriate. People who refuse to post like reasonable, mature, adults, aren't suited for YA (per YA CGs and Yahoo Terms).

Funny then that you keep coming back instead of leaving forever isn't it? Disabling comments here doesn't bother me. What does bother me is the way they disabled commenting in the news feeds in a partisan effort to suppress opinions in the run up to the election. You will note that they have ramped up the anti-Trump stories now that they have disabled comments as well. Media that is honest has no need of bias.

For the upteenth time, the comments were disabled across the entire Yahoo platform, including commenting on YA answers. This was for security and safety reasons. Also, there are legal liability reasons for Verizon because of increasing spamming, violent threats, and attempts to breach security around a presidential election. They did the same thing in 2012 and 2016.

YA is supposed to be a Q & A forum, the comments did nothing more than give bored trolls a chat room, there are any number of other social media sites that allow comments if thats what you like but its not why YA was created.
