Most Republicans started as Democrats. Why once people make it in life $ they forget about others that want a hand up not hand out to?

A conservative is a liberal who accumulated some assets

A liberal is a conservative who spent time in jail

Once you are forced to pull the wagon instead of riding in it, YOUR perspective will change as well.

Why do you think Democrats pretend to "tax the rich" when all their taxes fall heavily on the middle class? Anyone remember Bill Clintons tax bills in the 90s?

Raised income tax, oil duties, gas tax.....all which fall mostly on middle class and some poor...... followed by a capital gains tax CUT for his billionaire buddies.

You don't have to be a Democrat to want to help people who need it.  Its the kind of help that is different between the party's ideologies.
