What is your opinion on black lives matter? NOT THE ORGANIZATION. But just the statement. ?

For the ones who are peacefully protesting and saying all lives can’t matter until black lives do. What is your opinion on the statement and the protest?

For those who want true equality for all then THAT is what you push for as in ALL LIVES MATTER.    You don’t purposely divide people, by singling one group out.  BLM ignores MLK’s dream of a colorblind society.  They obviously don’t want “colorblind”.     “All farm animals are equal but pigs are more equal.”  George  Orwell warned us of this tactic.

The statement is obvious, and therefore shallow. It really is a kind of passive-aggressive way of manipulating people into supporting socio-political positions.

I think they made a mistake in the name, because to some people it sounds as if it is saying that black lives matter more than white lives, which is why some white people say All Lives Matter.

Instead of Black Lives Matter, they should have called it Black Lives Matter Too BLMT.

In other words we know that white lives matter, but so do black lives. That would be clearer and get the message across without sounding like a black power group.

I agree with the statement, in that it means that Black lives are just as important as White lives are, even though throughout history that hasn't been the case, and I have no problem with the peaceful protesters. The idiots who show up to cause violence aren't there to do anything more than make trouble for the cause.

"Black lives", is to put stress on the fact that they don't NOW matter as much. Kind of a sarcastic way of saying this.

Rights for those that need it most. First. That makes equality faster.

GOOD lives matter.  There is no reason to push the idea that black lives matter. {Blacks do not even believe black lives matter. Look at BoB crime and murder !!} Their egos cannot be that low. BLM is a political movement to flip the Missouri 3/5 compromise and put blacks on top.  The protesting and complaining Blacks will not accept personal responsibility and  want special rights.  [Did you ever hear a black leader tell blacks to not steal ??  ... to not run from the police or resist arrest?? ... to not shoot cops ?? ... or condemn "We want dead cops!" ??]  Every issue affecting blacks now existed when Obama was president, but Obama favored blacks. The push is happening now because someone desperately wants Trump out of office.

To add to Susie's input, MLK had a dream...where his children would not be judged on the color of their skin, but by their character.

Apparently, even this is proving to be "racist" by some.

When ANYONE burns, loots, riots and causes destruction of other

people's property...they are being judged by their character, not the color of their skin.
