Does crown rhyme or work with bound In a poem?

No. That final 'd' is quite a strong sound.

It would be an "imperfect" rhyme, also called an "oblique" or "slant" rhyme, but could easily work in a rhyming scheme such as:
"At dawn he sailed off to war, honor bound
For glory and loyalty to the crown"

Crowned would be more exact, but poetry need to be exact
