What do you do if your Tesla runs out of electricity?

It's not like you can walk to a gas station and get gas can of electricity.

Option 1:  Get dead electric car towed to the location of proper charging voltage.

Option 2:  Have a portable charging device brought to the location you are at.

    1. Stop before you are completely dead and plug into the nearest grid power. Charging from 120VAC is slow but it will get you to the nearest charging station.

    2. Call a tow truck.

    3. Call a mobile charging service.

This no different than running out of gas. You have to be very careless and/or stupid for it to happen.

Plug your cell phone into the cigarette lighter and slowly recharge your Tesla from your cell phone battery. Alternatively, do a rain dance until a bolt of lightning strikes your Tesla and recharges the battery instantly.

Don't buy an electric car in the first place.  it's a false promise anyway.  Fossil fuel is still burnt to generate the electricity (In most cases)  And transmission losses mean even MORE electricity is needed for the same amount of energy delivered to the vehicle.

Electric Vehicles are supposed to replace Gasoline cars, but no one is thinking about the NEW POWER PLANTS needed to generate the energy equivalent of 412,000,000,000 gallons of gas a year that currently run our automobiles. Looks like a Scheme to trick us into getting rid of our automobiles----something eco-nuts have been trying to do for years---Make us ALL walk or take the bus

The best thing to do is recharge it. Don't run out of juice on the road.

You rub a balloon on a sweater until you've generated enough static electricity to recharge the battery.
