did you use to see mostly white people working construction jobs? why now most are hispanic?

when became this way?

    Where I live it used to be black construction workers. Their livelihoods were decimated by the rampant use of illegal labor. But aside from the lower wages non taxpayers can afford to take, the typical US construction site in the SW now operates in Spanish. So if you can't speak Spanish you can't work there.

    It is because unscrupulous construction companies are replacing US citizen workers with illegal aliens. They do it because they can pay illegal aliens less than US citizens.  There are consequences since the illegals rarely know what they are doing:

    yeah, back in the rock and roll and heavy metal era of the 1980s. then 90s came along with NAFTA....wooosh...there went those jobs
