I can't save a page as mhtml in googlechrome I can't continue to save mhtml even if I change the name of googlechrome properties 

 The save mhtml extension also fails to save as mhtml

    mhtml is outdated, and seldom works with modern webpages, which use PHP and JavaScript to make pages work.

    changing the extension to mhtml doesn't magically make it an mhtml file.

    you should just save it as a PDF file. Chrome does this natively, as a printing option. it "prints" it to a PDF file.

    this won't work on every page, as some are designed NOT to print properly, but it at least works on 90% of web pages, which is more than mhtml.

    and PDFs work on ANY computer. they are self contained, just like mhtml, and print-ready, in case you decide to print it.

    is there some other reason you need mhtml files?
