Do I have to accept these new hours?
I have been in my job for two years with no contract working 12 hours a week, 10 months ago my hours went up to 25 per week, they now want me to sign a contract for 15 hours and employ someone else to do the other 10 hours, can they do this

Pay attention where you put your questions.

If you have no contract then they can alter the hours however they like.
15 hours/week is still more than you were origionally getting.
A comtract will give you some security.
You could discuss with your employer the possibility of covering both part time positions but they may want 2 people trainex to cover absences.
