why do yahoo post question in the wrong place. and why do people get so upset about it ?
how hard it is to just move on instead of crying about a person question

Because it's NOT hard to relocate the question to where it belongs. The site is designed so all users can do that, so categories aren't riddled with inapplicable posts.
When a user leaves a post in a subcategory where it doesn't belong, it's an indication they aren't serious about the question anyway. Anyone who was posting a legit information seeking question, would do their best to ensure it was in the most appropriate category, to increase the chances of them getting useful answers.
I'm not aware anyone 'cries' about a question, BUT it's irresponsible and abuse of the community to intentionally post in the wrong subcategory or repeatedly leave questions in the wrong subcategory, and can cause users to report the posts to try to get them removed (esp when it appears to be a chronic issue).
The site is for information seeking questions. Doesn't make sense to ask an auto mechanic about mental illness or someone skilled at video games for instructions of preparing pot roast.

1. Yahoo can not read your mind. It is amazing how well the system can work.
2. People do not use enough keywords to guide the question to the correct category.
People that get upset are the same that think the world owes them.

When I first joined this site, many moons ago, questions that were submitted in the wrong category were reported and deleted. I did not bother to report them as most of the questions were submitted by newbies to the site and they were still feeling their way around the site.
Just ignore the fact that some people are upset and just move your question into the correct category. Yahoo as a site just picks out certain words in the question title and then puts it into a category, if it is wrong, then just move it.

Its Based on Key Words so when you post your Question Yahoo takes a Guess on where it thinks it should go
Its Not Perfect so if it does not get it Right you can Fix It
After the Question is Posted to Correct it click Edit then Click Edit Category from there Select the Right Category for it and click Submit and it will go to the Right one
People get upset about It Because its not where it should be and they don't want to Spend the time to have to Fix it

every single last user, has the power to move their question to the category they want, if Yahoo initially sticks it in the wrong one. ....so there's no point whining about it.......just move it.

Floppy Bottom used to get very upset about it, he used to cry every time a question about cancer was posted into the "cancer" category, & insisted that it should be in "mental health."
You could try asking him, but don't expect a straight answer, he likes to cower away by throwing out his usual insults.
