Recent dairy intolerance help?

So for the entirety of my life, I've been completely fine with milk, milk-containing products, etc.

However, at 17 i started feeling very sick, constantly, and that's when my 'milk intolerance?' started. When i went to the doctor, i was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and now i take 60mg of thiamazole (6 tablets) a day. Then starting from that time, i would be mostly okay with milk-containing products, like eating cake, etc. But whenever i drink pure milk, not mixed into any product, i would have diarrhea. This goes for like coffee-flavored milk, chocolate milk, just plain white milk.

However, this doesn't happen like all the time. Sometimes i'm fine with milk for maybe a few weeks, and then i get the problem again for a few months.

Does anyone know what's going on?

Yes, a doctor would know what's going on, but none of us are doctors and if we were we certainly wouldn't diagnose you via Yahoo Answers.  See your doctor.
