How not to have slow reactions? Is it possible to train?

    I'm not sure if you're referring to physical reactions, such as in self-defense, and/or verbally responding to someone.  Regardless, please first talk with your family doctor about any such concerns to help rule out certain health issues.

    ** Please feel free to clarify that you mean.  For instance, there are some individuals who have "uncontrolled or slow movement" that are having symptoms of what is referred to as dystonia (apparently caused by involuntary muscle contractions).  That does *not* necessarily mean that you have that, but it's important to talk with your doctor, rather than trying to provide a self-diagnosis or self-treatment.

    Should any testing point towards a medical reason for the slow reactions, perhaps a medical doctor can provide a prescription for you to get occupational therapy (OT) and/or physical therapy (PT), for instance.

    If you're referring to physically reacting when having to engage in self-defense, for instance, and when medically cleared, perhaps you may ask your doctor if it's a good idea to take a beginner's taekwondo class, for instance.  The type of martial arts or self-defense is supposed to have started in Korea.  (Just for some trivia, the previous term of taekwondo can apparently get broken down into the following - "tae" which means to kick, "kwon" which means to punch or destroy with the hand, and "do" refers to a way of doing something.)
