Life entails a lot. In life, one experiences, and interacts with many many things. To say that life is this, or life is that, is to oversimplify. Some aspects of life are fair, some are unfair, and some are neither. Fairness is a concept that individuals apply. That is to say, individuals observe or imagine, an intentional behavior or mindless occurrence, and assess it as fair or unfair. Such assessments are subjective and relative, therefore, the question of whether or not life is fair depends upon who you ask, and upon what specific aspect of life is being considered.

The statement, "Only the strong survive." is factually incorrect. For example, humans frequently save runts. Statistically, the statement may be considered correct, but there are exceptions.

Also, strength is not a monolithic concept. There are many attributes that can be viewed as a strength: physical strength, intelligence, stubbornness, acute sensory abilities, adaptability, or any number of other attributes. An oak tree might be considered stronger than a clump of grass, but which is more likely to survive being run over by a bulldozer?

The mercy for the weak may to maintain their lives ; then it is fitting to consider others dimensions in life ( more love, more justice, more force, more beauty, more knowledge, more ability, more money ). Super-health, shiny youth, comfortable wealth !

The true meaning of human life is.... Self Realization. Love /hate, Good/evil, happiness/sorrow, positive/ negative, virtue/sin, soul/ body, heaven /hell.. are the creations of God.... So, by pure faith in God we can understand our eternal nature... which relates to our soul as our soul is the Part and Parcel of.... Supreme Soul...."God" ... Actually, we are spiritual souls but we are in human body. We are from the spiritual world. God has sent us on the earth...only for self realization.. as our souls are not as pure as, they have to be... So, God has given us human life where our body feels happiness as well as suffers pain. Therefore, we souls are here... to achieve... the level of purity and to become pure soul.... we should make an effort to understand the deeper meaning of unconditional love for all living beings.... in every situation...

Moreover, the eternal nature of our soul is to Love God...

    Yes.

No.  Luck, or other factors out of one's control, can affect what happens to people.  Timing and location as well.

If that's true, think very carefully about what "strong" means. Having big muscles? Being a good shot and having an arsenal of guns? How about being resilient, patient, able to get along with people? These are also traits that have been passed along in countless years of evolution. The characteristics of successful people have been studied carefully by various researchers. There was a very elaborate long-term study that found out what traits in children predict success. It studied children and followed them into their thirties. IQ is not the best. Emotional intelligence and the ability to stay focused on what you're doing despite distractions and emotional turmoil are more important. Dale Carnegie wrote a very famous book based on his careful study of successful people, likewise Dr Emma Seppala (video below).
